It’s hard for me to even describe this candle! The uniqueness of it is out of this world! You won’t find another candle like it! It definitely gives “coffee” but not in the way you think of a coffee scented candle. It’s rich… maybe more of a smooth espresso. You definitely get spices & hint of leaves/birchwood (outdoor) element. But then the vanilla shines through just enough to make it sweet and creamy. DO NOT sleep on this candle.

I have been purchasing from this brand for a little over a year now and I spend between two and $300 each and every drop so I have quite a candle collection from them. I can confidently say that this candle is their best blend yet. Yes it does smell like a pumpkin spice latte but it also smells like crunchy leaves, vanilla, and a bunch of amazing autumn spices along with the birch! This blend is just absolutely captivating and the scent throw for just a two wick is absolutely crazy! I purchased this jar because I loved the label. I purchased one to burn and want to keep and I plan on purchasing a larger vessel in the next restock.
I always attempt to give thorough reviews, but admittedly, this scent is truly difficult to fully capture because it’s just THAT incredible. Caramel Sundays notoriously is known for their delectable gourmand blends, but creating an outdoor conceptual fall fragrance like Hawkins Autumn and doing it this well takes real talent. On post burn, the throw kicked in almost instantaneously. The black coffee comes across like a rich dark roast; smooth and premium, not bitter or harsh. Followed by the birchwood and crunchy leaves, which gives this such an authentic outdoorsy autumn feel. The pumpkin spice is more subtle, with touches of clove and cinnamon interwoven throughout. It’s not a bold spice, but rather just the quintessential finishing touch. This is by no means a sweet or creamy fragrance, but the vanilla base keeps everything from becoming sharp or astringent. It’s SO incredibly well done. If you love complex, conceptual outdoor fall scents, this is an absolute MUST. I am completely obsessed. Not only by the aesthetic and scent itself, but also by the nostalgia that is also affiliated. Throw is ranking easily at an 8-8.5! 🙌🏻 Thankfully it returns in the full fall restock on July 12th! 🍁🖤
